Caitlin is an awesome yoga instructor! With her background as a physical therapist assistant, she is highly knowledgeable about the musculoskeletal system and how to tailor her yoga sessions towards a client’s specific needs.

I followed 2 workshops with Caitlin now to learn more about injuries and pain during a Yoga Practice. She is so knowledgeable and always there to help if needed. You learn so much more about your own body and how amazing props are.

Unlike group classes, her personal sessions allow you to have input in the poses and the goals you are setting for yourself. As a cyclist I have developed some really tight hip flexors so she was able to craft a routine just for me-with the goal of bringing back flexibility to that area.

Sunday Morning Zen

Each Sunday morning will bring a new episode on Muskegon Channel where I share snack sized (5-10 minutes) yoga segments to challenge and calm you.

Caitlin walked me through each pose describing how to do it in plain English using analogies when appropriate to really help me understand how to do a particular pose to get the most out of it and why that pose will help my golf game.

I had my session with Caitlin and of course I was nervous since I have never done yoga before and I have had previous knee surgery as well has lower back pain. Caitlin did very well as accommodating me to what works best for me and my body and wouldn’t hurt me in any way. I loved that!

  • Private Yoga Instructor based in West Michigan

  • My Mission: As a practitioner and private yoga instructor, I am a firm believer in healing through one-on-one yoga sessions.

  • My purpose is to support those with injury and persistent dysfunction in their journey of restoration. I am dedicated to empowering others in nurturing a deeper connection to their bodies through movement and mindfulness.

  • I am honored to do what I love, and it is a joy to share my passion for creating a more holistic quality of life.

She really comes from a trauma-sensitive viewpoint that focuses on the individual and what their body needs. She offered cueing options that allow students to meet you where they are at with their bodies rather than feeling like there is a “perfect” pose they need to be achieving. Her workshop was focused on adjusting for Knee Pain and she gave amazing options for one who struggles with knee pain in different poses.

She was very good at explaining the breaths and movements without being judgmental about our lack of prowess! Even though it was done via Zoom, she made it very personal and I felt like we were in the same room.
