Trying something new can be a scary thing especially when you do not know what to expect.  Starting or progressing on a journey to wellness is no different.  The journey will be full of ups and downs, twists and turns, but along the way new insights, knowledge, and skills are gained.

Where are you today and where do you want to be in the future?

Do you have what you need to get there?  Do you need support and encouragement?

Are you willing to show up for yourself and take the necessary steps to get there?

Beginning or deepening your yoga practice can be the bridge that gets you from where you are today to where you want to be down the road.

Our sessions will be completely personalized to your goals, desires, and ability.  Each session will be done virtually via Zoom so you can learn and practice in the comfort of your own home.  During each 60-minute private session we will address what matters to you most – strength, flexibility, injury prevention/recovery, stress management, improve focus, improve posture, improve body awareness, and/or improve overall wellness. 

Each session can be set up like a standard studio class or we can work on a specific pose/sequence or a specific area of the body.  It will all depend on what you need that day, as each session can be different as well.  Private yoga sessions allow us to focus solely on you and your needs in the moment – we can stop mid-flow and break a pose down more, add/remove props, or try different variations of each pose to find what works best for you.

The pace and style of the session will also depend on what you are looking for each time.  From a faster paced vinyasa style practice focusing on movement and breath to a slow yin class focusing more on longer holds for deeper release of tension or something in between, you decide what works for you and we go from there.  Or you can decide to build a personalized sequence that you will be able to repeat on your own at home by learning just a few poses at a time each session.
